Testimony
My name is Jeannie. I’m a daughter, a mother, a wife. I have a deep concern about the extent to which media depictions normalize female victimization and glorify unrealistic ideas about how women should live and be treated. I’m troubled by the damage women incur in a society that does much to validate mistreatment and little to provide justice and support to countless survivors. I advocate for survivors of sexual assault by way of hotline and accompaniments at hospitals and police stations. I look forward to working with I Am Priceless so survivors may grow in strength and influence.
